"Strength training is important as you age, and I wasn't doing anything except a little bit of Pilates."

At 63, Sue’s weekly activities consisted of a little bit of pilates and not much else. She knew that this wasn’t enough on its own to keep her bones and muscles strong and healthy as she aged. Nor was it enough to keep her doing the activities she loved. So, she decided to start strength training.
Since starting she’s going up hills and stairs much more strongly and confidently. She’s noticed improvements to her arm strength, core, posture and how she stands, as well as feeling generally better about herself. She just wants to keep getting stronger to continue walking, have a more active lifestyle and stay strong as she ages.
