Athlete Agreement

The terms and conditions below between Alignwell Pty Ltd ACN 670 778 300 trading as VAMOS Strength Training (VAMOS or us) and the person named in your athlete application (you) along with your health check, payment authority, your membership package Terms and Conditions and any rules published on the VAMOS website from time to time form your VAMOS Athlete Agreement.

VAMOS offers strength training programmes and workouts to be completed in the VAMOS workout cubes.

Athlete fees are either payable upfront or by monthly direct debit/credit card payment that will be debited in line with your individual athlete programme and membership package outlined during the sign up process.

As a VAMOS athlete, you are entitled to attend the VAMOS gym at any time subject to workout cube booking availability and provided you have a current membership subscription or package. VAMOS workouts must be booked in advance via the VAMOS app. All workout sessions must be used within the timeframe of the relevant training package, otherwise they will be forfeited. Additional services such as personal training (if available) will be payable in addition to your athlete fees. Athlete fees may be varied by VAMOS from time to time but will not be changed before the latter of the end of an active membership package or on the anniversary of your start date and by giving you at least 14 days’ notice.

Workouts must be booked via the VAMOS app. You can cancel or change your workout booking(s) up to 12 hours before the start of the session. Cancellation within 12 hours of a booking may be charged a late cancellation fee and if you don’t attend your booking VAMOS may charge you a no show fee.

If you wish to cancel your membership you need to provide us with at least 14 days’ notice by emailing us and confirming you wish to cancel your membership for the following month.

You can freeze your training and membership package/payment for a maximum of 12 weeks in any 12-month rolling period. Any individual freeze period must be for a minimum of 2 weeks duration and you must provide at least 14 days’ notice by emailing us the dates you would like to freeze for.

During the sign-up process, we will ask you questions about your health. Please answer these questions honestly and let us know if your health circumstances change. Exercising may involve the risk of injury or death and you agree to exercise at your own risk. If you are injured or killed in using the VAMOS gym or content, VAMOS will not be liable except for gross negligence. To the extent permitted by law, you waive all claims against VAMOS and its directors and staff.

Whilst you are an athlete at VAMOS we will collect and use your personal information to supply our services to you.  Without you providing this personal information, VAMOS will not be able to provide the full range of VAMOS services to you. We understand the importance of keeping your personal information secure and we will do this in line with the VAMOS privacy policy available on the VAMOS website. Please be sure to let us know if your contact information has changed.

If you are under 18 your parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and conditions on your behalf.

This agreement is subject to the laws of New South Wales.  VAMOS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and will let you know of any changes by email by giving you at least 14 days’ notice.
