About

Scott's fitness journey began in his family's gym as a kid, and over the past 20 years, he's held senior leadership roles across some of the world's largest health club operations, from the UK to Australia and throughout Asia-Pacific. Leading teams across hundreds of clubs gave him invaluable insight into what works and, more importantly, what doesn't when it comes to helping people build lasting strength.

Throughout his career, Scott watched countless people walk through gym doors feeling intimidated, unsure, and overwhelmed by complex equipment and crowded floors. He saw how traditional gym environments, despite their best intentions, often failed the very people who stood to benefit most from strength training: adults over 40 looking to age well, maintain independence, and feel confident in their bodies.

This realisation became the catalyst for VAMOS. Together with his wife Kate and their three children Elsie, Flo, and George, Scott spent two years in his garage designing and refining a completely different approach to strength training. The family became VAMOS's first athletes, testing every detail of the cubes to ensure they delivered on the promise of feeling supported, never intimidated. Scott's vision was simple: create a formula where getting stronger just needs a commitment to showing up and doing the work.
